Meet The Crux Firm’s Founder and President , MAJ Colin A. Stark

MAJ Colin A. Stark is first, foremost, and forever a proud member of the US military. For more than 20 years, Colin has served his country through roles in the Army National Guard and Army Reserve.  He currently serves in the Army Reserve as an Assistant Professor of Military Science (ROTC APMS) for Stanford University. 

With his High School diploma in-hand, Colin’s professional journey began by enlisting in the Indiana Army National Guard. He fulfilled his obligations while earning a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University. Upon graduation, Colin deployed overseas in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and served as an Infantry Platoon Leader. 

Having completed two tours of active duty, Colin set out to augment his military service with private sector experience. This chapter of his career began by earning a Masters of Business Administration from Santa Clara University. Colin was then recruited by Silicon Valley firms where he managed multimillion-dollar projects. During this phase of Colin’s journey, he continued supporting the US Army as an Assistant Professor teaching Military Science and tactical field training at Stanford University. 

Colin’s commitment to excellence has been recognized by the US Army via a Bronze Star Medal, multiple Army Commendation Medals, multiple Army Achievement Medals and a Combat Infantryman Badge. In the private sector, he has earned certificates in Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Professional (ACP), and Scaled Agile Scrum Master (SSM). 

As the President of Crux, Colin is utilizing his diverse experiences to amplify the government’s ability to improve the lives of all Americans. Through grit, service, and respect, Crux is delivering incredible services to our customers, partners, and employees. Simply put, Crux’s organizational goal is to elevate your experience.
